Peninsula Fire Safety Ltd, provide fire safety consultation to owners of holiday rentals and tenanted buildings in the South West UK. Fire safety compliance is a legal obligation for property owners, but we needed to explore the customer base in more depth, in order to unveil what solutions the business could provide in order to become more than just a prescribed annual requirement.
We facilitated a brand discovery workshop which uncovered who the ideal clients were. It soon became evident that all of the personas we created had the following in common; they needed clear advice as well as basic education into safety compliance, and a trusted supplier, someone who offered honest support. It became evident that we needed to evoke a bias towards that of a consultant. It was important that the aesthetic outcome shone a light towards being the least risky option for any prospective clients given the legal requirements property owners face.
