A giant in the healthcare consumables sector, Excedo provide cleaning products for large institutions. Pre-Covid, they were already looking to level up their product base and enter new lateral markets. Their market growth meant that the Excedo brand needed to level up; to be flexible enough to confidently approach new sectors, without alienating its large existing market. We held a brand strategy workshop which highlighted the need to organise the product categories; making sure they were simple and straightforward to understand. The look of the brand is informed by the robust and reliable nature of the products. End users, such as hospital cleaners, need to be able to quickly identify and grab the right product from their busy storage rooms. The use of colour and bold type is a powerful, yet practical way of doing exactly this.
