Four ways.

We're all about free stuff and giving value. So here are four ways how to show the world your business is different (and better than the competition)

  1. Ask yourself, what's the one reason (besides making money), your business exists? This will focus your thinking on something other than profit, which will help you to gain interest from potential customers.
  2. How would you describe your brand to the world? Writing down some key values and turning these into a sentence or phrase that can be communicated to your audience, can help keep things on the right track.
  3. Describe your ideal customer. These are the people you really want to take notice of your brand. What do they need from you? It's ok not to appeal to the masses, and instead focus on a smaller niche who will be more interested than Joe Public.
  4. What makes your brand distinctive? What do you do different or better than the competition? Shout about this. All the time.

Also, don't be too hard on yourself. Progress is better than perfection.
